The Singapore Pledge
We, the citizens of Singapore,
pledge ourselves as one united people,
regardless of race, language or religion,
to build a democratic society
based on justice and equality
so as to achieve happiness, prosperity and
progress for our nation.
Did u pledge with the nation at 8:23pm on the 9 August 2009? I did.
Its reminded me of the pledge and the meaning which lied inside it. I'm proud to be one!!
It also brought back memories from primary and secondary school. How wonderful it is to be able to say it together with all ur friends beside you.
